ReplyDeletethanks to the politics of the guide...
I think the biggest shame is that Arras didn't get two hats.
ReplyDeleteNotable absentee is the Journeyman at Bowral. It seems they closed doors in 2010. Shame. Having dined at Porteno just a few months ago, the food was good but two hats, really? Not in my book. I wonder if the author of this blog remembers that particular evening? ;)
ReplyDeleteThe food at Porteno was good (I prefer Movida in Melbourne or Ortega in Brisbane) mainly because service was not really two hat standard but I guess we are all entitled to our opinion.
ReplyDeleteFish Face in Darlinghurst should get more than one hat. 'Been there many times and the food and service was always great. Or is it because the restaurant style is not as posh as Aria or Tetsuya's etc...c'mon guys, we are talking about the quality of food and service here.
